- Authentication Data: When you log in using Google OAuth, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture. We do not have access to your Google password.
- Usage Data: We store your account status (Free or Premium) and your remaining credit balance in our secure database.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information strictly to:
- Provide and maintain the Sad Caption service.
- Manage your account and credit limits.
- Process payments securely through our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform:
- Supabase: For secure database hosting and user authentication.
- Google (Gemini AI & AdSense): To generate AI captions and serve targeted advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website.
- Lemon Squeezy: To process all premium subscription payments. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
4. Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your data at any time. Deleting your account from your profile settings will automatically and permanently erase your data from our database.
