At Sad Caption, we want you to be completely satisfied with your AI credit purchases. Please read our refund policy carefully regarding digital credit purchases.

1. Digital Goods Finality

Due to the nature of digital goods and AI generation costs, our AI credit packs are generally non-refundable once they have been used to generate content. The compute resources required to run the Gemini AI models are consumed immediately upon generation.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

We will gladly consider a refund within 14 days of purchase under the following specific conditions:

  • The purchased AI credits remain completely unused (0 generations performed with the purchased pack).
  • You experienced a documented technical failure or recurring error that prevented the service from functioning entirely.
  • A duplicate charge occurred due to a system error.

3. Processing Time

Refund requests are manually reviewed. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

4. Subscription Billing

Currently, Sad Caption operates on a one-time credit pack basis rather than recurring subscriptions. If we introduce subscriptions in the future, you will be able to cancel at any time to prevent future billing, though past billing periods will remain non-refundable.

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following details:

  • Your account email address
  • Order ID (found on your Lemon Squeezy receipt)
  • The reason for the refund request
